Maria Holm, a native of Sweden, where she received her BFA in Dance, Dance Education and Fine Arts from The Swedish University College of Dance, Stockholm, Sweden, in 1986. NYC 1994,
an incredibly creative place
As a professional dancer, arriving from Stockholm Sweden,
immersing into the movement scene of -90ies NYC
was incredible stimulating and exciting.
Came across the black & white Documentary Photo project made about me
”A dancer’s everyday life”,
by Swedish Photographer Anna Persson,
in NYC 94/95. Turned into a photo show at Kulturhuset, Stockholm, Sweden, and a book.
