Congratulations to AGSC Technical Director Brian Simpson, and Programs Director Mike Leon, on a historic campaign leading the New York Athletic Club's Women's Soccer Team into the WPSL National Final!

The NYAC team had contributions from AGSC players Natalie Smith, Nicole Patino, and Lucia Mantica, as well as former AGSC players, Asha Locke, Emily Villanueva and Victoria Vinals.

NYAC had an impressive campaign in which they ended the record winning streak that Clarkstown had during regular season. They captured the Metropolitan Conference with two games to spare, and they won the East Region with a comprehensive 8-2 victory.

The team made the run all the way to the National Final where they ended up short by one goal.

Congratulations again to Coach Brian, Coach Mike, and all the players who contributed to this historic campaign!

From June 15 to June 19, players will have the unique opportunity to train with international coaches, experience academy style training, and learn from some of the world’s top clubs and federations, all right here in NYC!
 
This is more than a week of training. It’s a chance to experience the global game, gain a new perspective on soccer, and learn from coaches who have worked at the highest levels of the sport.

On Sunday, we celebrated our senior class on the last home game of their careers. Many of them spent their whole youth career at the club, and while it's sad to see them leave, it's a very proud moment to see the young men they have become.

We can't wait to see what the future holds for each one of you!
