The partial solar eclipse, viewed through my 📷, looked like a 🧡.

In real life, it was a stunning, powerful reminder of the force of nature.

Eclipses invite us to let go of what no longer serves us and create space for something new, meaningful, and beautiful.

The best place to begin is by listening to your heart… and your body. ❤️

As someone who works with older adults, I believe one of the most important things we can do is support their independence and their sense of ownership over their own lives and bodies.

Every day, I see my elderly clients become stronger, more stable, and more confident in their abilities. As they become more capable, they can do more for themselves and enjoy greater independence.

Yesterday, I saw a video on social media that made me think about what it really means to “do good.”

The video showed an elderly woman crossing a wide street in a crosswalk with a walker. She was walking steadily and at a relatively fast pace. Two young men stopped their car, got out, picked her up, carried her to the other side, then rushed back for her walker and hugged her.

The message seemed to be: “Do good. Act out of love.” Beautiful messages, of course. But is that really what we should take from this situation?

This woman did not appear to be in danger or distress. She was using her walker, crossing in a crosswalk, and moving steadily. From what we could see, she was perfectly capable of crossing on her own two feet.

So I have to ask: Should her independence be taken away for the sake of “doing good”?

Perhaps the two men could have simply made sure the cars remained stopped and patiently walked alongside her, or waited until she safely reached the other side.

Doing good isn’t always about making someone’s situation faster or easier for everyone else. Sometimes it’s about patience. Respecting someone’s pace. Supporting their independence instead of taking over.

I’m sure she appreciated their kindness. But perhaps she would have appreciated it just as much, if not more, if they had allowed her to remain in control of her own body and actions.

Sometimes, truly acting out of love means knowing when to help, and when to simply stand beside someone and let them do it themselves.

What does independence mean to me?

Professionally, it means waking up every day knowing I get to do something I truly love.

They say, “Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life.” I feel incredibly grateful that my work is also my passion and my life mission.

On the eve of Independence Day, I received a beautiful message from a dear client, and it deeply touched me.

Etti Hoffman is an NLP Master, a naturopath, and so much more. Over the years, I’ve been learning so much from her and have gone through life-changing processes with her guidance and support which I truly recommend.

Receiving this message from someone I respect so deeply made it even more meaningful.

It reminded me that true freedom isn’t only something we celebrate as a nation. It’s also the freedom to feel at home in our bodies, to reconnect with ourselves, and to become who we are meant to be.

I feel incredibly grateful and fortunate to work with Etti, and with all of my clients, each of whom inspires me every single day.

Happy Independence Day!💙❤️🤍

Last week at The Joyce Theater, seeing Step Afrika! was nothing short of amazing.

I’ve never seen tapping and percussive dance performed with so much passion and emotion while telling such a moving story. The show takes you on a beautiful journey through time, seamlessly weaving together dance, music, live singing, storytelling, visual art, powerful themes, and a variety of dance styles into one unforgettable performance.

The dancers were phenomenal, the choreography was breathtaking, and every moment was filled with energy, emotion, and joy. I was captivated from beginning to end.

Sharing this incredible experience with great company made it even more special. 🧡 Inbal Tal

I often speak about the mind-body connection and how fascia plays a role in both. I see it in my clients, and I feel it in myself. When the body resists or holds tension, it’s often because something deeper, emotional or mental, needs attention. The body and mind are constantly communicating.

Looking at this image, I’m reminded that healing is like a bridge, a connection between two sides that may feel separate at times. The body and the mind, just like these paths, are always linked. When we support one, we create flow in the other. And sometimes, we need guidance to help us cross that bridge.

Self-care isn’t just something I teach, it’s something I must continually choose for myself.

As someone who helps others reconnect with their bodies and support their healing, it’s important for me to remember that I also need support beyond my own practice. Finding the right person to guide and hold space for my own healing journey has been essential.

Through deep and meaningful NLP work, I’ve experienced profound shifts. Yes, I lost 18 pounds, but more importantly, my body feels and looks different, not just on the outside, but from within. This process, alongside my Fascial Pilates practice, has supported my healing in ways I didn’t expect. I’ve been able to come off painkillers I once relied on monthly for severe menstrual pain, and I now navigate chronic aches with much more ease.

This work has strengthened my center mentally and emotionally. It helped me release limiting beliefs, build confidence, and grow as a person.

My self-care today includes this powerful NLP work, my fascial practice, and dance, all connecting the dots in a way that feels aligned and whole.

Grateful for the support, guidance, and transformation this journey continues to bring.

If you’re curious about this kind of work, I truly encourage you to explore it, and I wholeheartedly recommend working with . Her approach is deep, compassionate, and truly life-changing.

And if you’re interested in Fascial Pilates, I’m here for you 🤍

What if moving better wasn’t just about strengthening muscles?

The body also relies on fascia, the connective tissue network that links everything together. When we include fascial work in movement practice, it can help unlock new mobility, release long held tension patterns, and create more fluid, resilient movement.

Over the past year my work has been evolving in a direction that feels really exciting to me.

While Pilates is still at the core of what I teach, I’ve been integrating more fascial informed movement into my sessions. This exploration has led to the development of my Fascial Pilates sessions.

I’ve updated my website to reflect this work and share more about my approach.
