On Gun Violence Awareness Day/ Month , we remember our beloved Darius Lee and the countless lives impacted by senseless gun violence. His absence is felt every day.
Darius was more than a victim—he was a son, friend, teammate, and a bright young man with a promising future. Today, we honor his memory, stand with loved ones, and renew our commitment to creating safer communities. Communities across the country continue to carry the weight of lives cut short and futures taken too soon.
