Y’all thought I was playing around this year… does this look like I came to “play” or “slay”? Who’s next???

If it's not clear by now I am coaching with a major vendetta this year... I will have no mercy on anyone!!!

Some of you coaches and parents mess your kids up with these false affirmations. Make sure they are going to an institution for the right reasons not just for sports and making it to the pros. In my day once you picked a college you grinded to get a starting spot and got your degree. No transferring because your team wasn't good enough or because you weren't starting or you didn't like the system. In just 3 years we went from the ability to transfer once, to a federal judge now allowing a student to transfer more than once. You don't realize how selfish the people in transfer portal are and hiw much that messes up future high school graduates...

It's takes a special breed of man to be a volunteer youth coach when you have a family at home to support. The countless hours you put in on the field will overlap into the hours you have to dedicate to home. You can just have an "on/off switch" to determine when you do and don't care about your players and/or the happenings of your org. Most importantly it takes the support of your family to stick by your side and be your support when you feel like you can't take anymore because you do take on the stress of a caregiver, coach, and friend all at once.
