🎉5 for $5 offers dancers the chance to train with inspiring artists at an extremely accessible cost, while building a consistent sense of community week after week. Participants can attend the full series for $5 per class or drop in for $12, making it one of the most affordable training opportunities in NYC.

Forza Dance is a NYC-based arts organization dedicated to making dance more accessible through innovative performances, subsidized development opportunities for artists, and meaningful community engagement.
Forza Dance will perform Breaking Bonds at the Making Moves Dance Festival on September 18 & 19 at 7PM!
Artistic Director Michaella Barron was commissioned as one of three emerging artists to rework Breaking Bonds for presentation at the Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning. JCAL
The work explores our relationship with the Earth and the responsibility we hold toward one another and our shared environment.

We’re so excited to bring back our 5 for $5 Class Series this September, and this line-up is truly something special. These are some of the most in-demand teachers in the city — all in one place, all at an accessible price. We’re beyond grateful to be in partnership with New York Live Arts, and to share space with artists who continue to shape and inspire the NYC dance community.
Let’s commit to showing up for ourselves and each other as we move from summer into fall — building consistency, deepening our practice, and growing together over 5 weeks of seriously good classes:

Happy Summer from Forza Dance ☀️
Halfway through 2026… how are we doing?
As artists.

Led by Artistic Director Michaella Barron alongside wonderful Forza dancers Gabby DiNizo & Micah Mckee , dancers spent the evening:
• Warming up and preparing for movement
• Learning original choreography by Michaella Barron
• Receiving feedback on the material in a supportive environment
• Building confidence on camera through small group and solo takes
Every participant left with high-quality video and photos to use for reels, auditions, social media, portfolios, and more.
