She worked tirelessly with me 3 times a week over Zoom in addition to her school classes, preparing her variation from Graduation Ball 🩰 I’m so proud of her dedication and accomplishment at such a young age❣️

Fondu is done on a single leg while pliéing and bending the other leg simultaneously 🩰 The word “Fondu” means “to melt”.

(I’m using an automated voice so relevé and plié are pronounced incorrectly in this video as you would also voice the “e” at the end) ✨

This is a combination of jeté + piqué 🩰
The piqué term is also used when dancer is transferring weight to a pointed (or demi-pointed) foot. Can be done in passé, arabesque etc..
