Life skateboards Local Handcrafted Skateboards In 2002 in pursuit of his dream, Sam Koch opened a skate shop and Life Skateboards was born. Thanks for your support!

In 2008 after some hard times, the shop reluctantly closed its doors. In 2009 pursuing his passion for woodworking, Sam opened Sam’s Custom Woodworking; where he specialized in quality, handcrafted furniture and cabinetry. In 2012 Sam combined his love for skateboarding and woodworking, to form the rebirth Life Skateboards with a new concept – handcrafted, artful skateboards; pressed, designed, and hand-shaped right here in Muncie. Sam is happy to serve the local and not so local communities with a unique product crafted with love.
