The 28th Annual Faux Pas Lodge Invitational was a HUGE success.

Many thanks to ALL our Teams that took a chance with the passing of tropical storm Bertha. Although the tournament was delayed 1 day, the weather could not have cooperated more on Friday and Saturday.

Unfortunately, the Wish to Fish Louisiana event had to be postponed, but we will keep everyone informed on our reschedule date.

To the Butlers (the entire family), all of the Venice Marina Crew and everyone involved in any capacity at the Marina, thank you very much. It takes a lot of preparation to put on an event of this magnitude, and you guys continue to impress.

The Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board seafood boil at the Thursday night Captain’s party kicked off the event.

From there, our teams just continued to pour in with record fish! The Wish To Fish weigh team stayed busy weighing in record numbers of fish, including a 250lb swordfish, 220lb tuna and 6.91 pound speckled trout. See the complete leaderboard at www.fauxpaslodge.com.

Acme Oyster House closed the event with a fantastic menu with Michelob ULTRA and Tito's Handmade Vodka keeping us hydrated. We were all kept cool in the hot summer sun in the Sunbelt Rentals Pavillion.

It was a fantastic event!!! Thank You again to all that helped make this a huge success.

For those who were unable to get their Faux Pas Prints apparel, we will keep you posted when we are back organized and set up to sell the incredible 2028 merch line.
