You can know your "water smarts" before you even dip your toe in water. Some water smarts tips include:

🫁 Knowing your physical limits before you swim.
🏊 Never swimming alone; a lifeguard or a friend/guardian onshore should always be present.
🛟 Wearing appropriate flotation devices, like a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket.
🧠 Swimming sober.
☎️ Knowing how to call for help.

🔔 In observance of Juneteenth, the Reily Center will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and TU Fit will be closed on Friday, June 19.

Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when Union troops, led by Major General Gordon Grander, arrived in Texas to enforce the Emancipation Proclamation, which was instated in 1863, to free the last enslaved Black Americans.

The World Cup's got us thinking of our own soccer champs here at home 🏆⚽

1-2. Men's Club Soccer, who won the Louisiana State Cup in their division against LSU, with a score of 1 - 0, this past spring.
3. Women's Club Soccer, who compete in the Women's East TCSL.
4. Management FC, reigning Intramural Mixed-Rec Soccer champions.
5. ZPT FC, reigning Intramural Open Soccer champions.
