I recently read an article from that said, "Black professionals and specifically women are more susceptible to higher levels of stress... leading them to experience detrimental effects mentally and physically, leading to "weathering" accelerated physiological aging and cumulative health deterioration, as well as higher rates of hypertension, heart disease, obesity, diabetes, and more."

TLDR: Stress is aging you & harming your health.

The article goes on to talk about protecting mental health, boundaries & avoiding burn out.

In this season, I am being forced to accept that there will be days that are completely out of my control and that don't go as planned... and that's ok.

Consistency in my fitness routine is more important than perfection. And choosing to keep showing up is the key to results and sustained progress.
