It was the Bearathon 5K at Baylor in 2011. I was 24, competitive and didn't know better. 😂
Let me know if you want a storytime 📖
I thought it would be easier. I really did. But no time to dwell on what didn't happen the way I thought it would/could/should. All I can control is what I do now.
And that's true for anybody on a fitness journey. Focus on what you can do going forward.
The biggest trap we fall into is waiting for the "perfect time" to start.
We tell ourselves we’ll focus on our goals when work slows down, when the kids are older, or when we finally feel "ready." But truth? The perfect conditions don't exist. Waiting for them just keeps you stuck in a loop of procrastination.
What's one thing you can do this week to get started?

If you’re looking for sustainable fitness, heavy lifting, some running and realistic expectations —welcome to the page. 🤎

Have you heard about this? How will it change your family's food choices?

Get an immediate win on your fitness journey this week by simplifying your focus. Focus on just one goal. Nutrition or movement. Over time, small wins become big change.
Save this for later & share with someone who needs to hear it 🫶🏾
