NOTE TO SELF!

I’ve been here at the Blue Crab with one hell of a lighting storm in full view. I came here at 5:45am because I was meeting a couple that was flying in from Germany to run this race, and enjoy the Big Easy until the 30th and fly home.

But, I was also coming here because I knew that someone did not see our cancellation emails or read our cancellation rmails and our Facebook Notifications.

Please say hello to Roberta from Phoenix, AZ, who stepped out of her uber and walked up to my car and asked if this was the Halloween Half Marathon race site. After I helped pick her jaw off the ground, we had a laugh or several, as she realized that she deleted two of our emails and never went to the the race website prior to leaving a half marathin in Fort Worth yesterday.

Always, Always check and events website each day prior to any mass participation event.
