Strong traditions are built through strong partnerships.
The Bayou Classic is proud to sponsor the Grambling University National Alumni Association's Annual Conference as alumni, leaders, and supporters come together to renew connections, celebrate legacy, and shape the future.
We look forward to seeing everyone in attendance and thank GUNAA for its continued commitment to preserving the Grambling legacy.
Because The Culture Lives through the people who continue to invest in it.

Different colors. Different legacies.
One tradition that has brought generations together for more than 50 years.
This Fourth of July, we celebrate the spirit of unity that makes the Bayou Classic unlike anything else. Rivalry fuels the game, but culture, community, and tradition are what bring us together year after year.
Happy Fourth of July from the Bayou Classic family.

Some call it halftime.
We call it a tradition that takes center stage.
The bands. The dancers. The energy. The rivalry. Every performance adds another chapter to the Bayou Classic legacy.
Who do y'all think we're bringing to this year's halftime show?
Tag who you'd love to see and tell us why.

The Culture Lives.

Bayou Classic is more than a football game. Itโ€™s a cultural institution built on legacy, community, tradition, and excellence. Every ticket purchased, every hotel booked, every restaurant visited, and every fan who shows up contributes to an experience that extends far beyond the field.

In 2025, Bayou Classic generated an estimated $26.5 million in economic impact for New Orleans and the surrounding region.

That impact belongs to the alumni who come home.
The students who carry the tradition forward.
The bands that move the crowd.
The families who make Bayou a Thanksgiving ritual.
The fans who show up year after year.

Because when we invest in the culture, the culture continues to thrive.

Freedom is more than a moment in history.

It lives in the traditions we carry forward.
In the communities we build.
In the generations that come together to celebrate culture, legacy, and pride.

Today, we honor Juneteenth and the enduring spirit of those who came before us while recognizing our responsibility to continue the journey.

Because culture isnโ€™t something we inherit once.

Itโ€™s something we live.

The Culture Lives.

Happy Juneteenth from Bayou Classic.

Two legendary bands.
Two proud traditions.
One unforgettable stage.

The Battle of the Bands is where music, pageantry, precision, and school pride collide in a spectacle unlike anything else in college athletics.

Before the game, the culture takes center stage.

Who will bring the loudest sound, the biggest energy, and the most unforgettable performance?

Eddie Robinson saw it before the rest of the world did.

He believed the Bayou Classic would become more than a football game. More than a conference rivalry. More than a Louisiana tradition.

A cultural institution.

Today, millions tune in, generations return home, and New Orleans becomes the center of HBCU culture every Thanksgiving weekend.

โ€œThe Super Bowl of not only the state of Louisiana, not only for the SWAC, but it's going to be worldwide.โ€

Legacy isn't what you say.
It's what stands the test of time.

The Culture Lives.
