We’re near the end of Week 2 and thanks to our friends Edita Kirvelevicius and we’ve been able to get some fantastic shots of our wrestlers!

Fear not, everyone is doing great, in high spirits, and ready to turn the dial up to 🔟 in Week 3!

✈️🛥️🌴 takes us down south to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to check in on Kevin Ruland!

The rising sophomore had the unique opportunity to connect with 2020 graduate and CG Wrestler, LT George McBurney, at this station! LT McBurney is currently a fixed wing pilot in Ft. Lauderdale and was able to give Kevin some bonus exposure he otherwise wouldn’t have gotten! 🛫

Ruland is assigned to the small boat station and when he isn’t hitting flips and boating, he’s busting drug smugglers and saving lives on search and rescue cases 🤯

Imagine that… 18 years old. Busting drug smugglers and saving lives on search and rescue cases…

There’s nowhere else that will give you these experiences this early on in your cadet experience. Is life-shaping for your future ❌

🚨𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 🚨 While we cannot condone the actions of yesterday’s activities, the persons of interest did have a compelling reason to scale the Empire State Building…

Their flag dawned a message of: “The US Coast Guard Academy is the most underrated service academy.” And we, for one, couldn’t agree more.

Our offerings match or exceed those of the Division I big three, including:

👉 Guaranteed job as a Coast Guard Officer upon graduation for at least five years
