πŸŠβ€β™€οΈπŸ”₯ Zone Championships Update – Eastern Zones Day 4 & Central Zones Day 3

It was another outstanding day for our Condors competing at both the Eastern Zone Long Course Age Group Championships in Richmond, VA, and the Central Zone Championships in Evansville, IN!

πŸ“ Eastern Zones – Day 4 (Richmond, VA)

Ellen Chae (10) wrapped up an unforgettable championship meet by adding two more silver medals to her collection!

The highlight came in the 50m Freestyle, where Ellen exploded off the start and led the field into the finish. Two swimmers charged back over the final meters, and all three hit the wall together in a thrilling finish. The timing system was needed to separate them, with all three swimmers finishing within just 0.05 seconds. Ellen tied for the πŸ₯ˆ silver medal in one of the closest races of the meet!

πŸ’ͺ Olivia Henderer (14) continued her impressive distance freestyle performances, dropping more than 40 seconds from her best time in the 1500m Freestyle ("the mile").

⚑ Gabby Santi (14) was just off her lifetime best in the 50m Freestyle, then came back to anchor Metro's "A" Medley Relay with a blazing freestyle split.

πŸ“ Central Zones – Day 3 (Evansville, IN)

Charlee Medford kept the momentum going with another fantastic day, dropping more than three seconds in the 400m Freestyle before qualifying for the consolation final in the 100m Backstroke. Good luck tonight in the 200 IM!
