The world will try to teach them that being “nice” is more important than having boundaries.
As their mother, I’m here to teach them something different. ✨
I’m raising my children to know that self-respect is non-negotiable, that confidence is built through action, and that they are the architects of their own lives.
A pleasing personality does not mean being nice with a lack of standards.
Read that again.
Napoleon Hill never taught weakness dressed up as warmth. He taught magnetism.
And magnetism has a spine.
Nice says yes to keep the peace.
Pleasing keeps her peace, and says what is true.
Nice shrinks so others feel comfortable.
Pleasing expands, and makes others feel safe to do the same.
Nice is liked.
Pleasing is respected, remembered, and followed.
Your standards are not a flaw in your personality.
They ARE your personality.
The warmth draws people in. The standards are why they stay.
Save this for the next time someone confuses your boundaries with coldness. 🌹👑
