The Muk Yan Jong doesn't keep secrets. It only exposes the truth of your structure.
​When you train on the dummy, you're looking into a three-dimensional mirror. It reflects exactly what you bring to it. It’s never wrong—it just demands that you align yourself and find the correct position. The only "secret" is the years of repetition and hard work required to get there.
​Ready to put in those reps? Our special class kicks off this weekend (August 8th and 9th). We have a few spots remaining. If you've been on the fence, send us a message and we'll get you on the mats.

Mook Yan Jong Special Class (Two-Day Intensive)

Part 1 – Saturday Aug 8 | 3:00–5:00 pm
“The What” — History, structure, and the complete wooden dummy sequence. Pure form. No application talk. Just accurate ex*****on.

Part 2 – Sunday Aug 9 | 2:00–4:00 pm
“The How” — Kinetic energy, flow, and the four-stage progression that turns technique into living skill.

Most people approach the wooden dummy backward.
They want speed, power, and flashy combinations before they've built the foundation.
Our approach is different.
Start with the sequence. Clean the technique. Build flow. Then begin exploring energy. Then apply.
Each layer supports the next. Skip the foundation, and you'll spend years reinforcing bad habits. Build it correctly, and every repetition has a purpose.

Got a front-row seat to history right behind the academy this morning. Union Pacific’s Big Boy 4014 is making its Coast-to-Coast run to celebrate America’s 250th, bringing a massive piece of American history straight through town. Seeing the 4014 alongside the special UP and NS 1776 heritage units was an incredible sight.

​Huge congratulations to long-time student and Black Sash candidate, Will, on receiving the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence! 🎓🏆
​In our youth program, we don’t just train physical mechanics; we train discipline, focus, and character. Will is a living, breathing example of the traditional Ving Tsun saying:
​"If you don't work hard when you are young, you will have nothing when you are old."
​Will knows firsthand that excellence isn't an accident. The same standard of structure, focus, and grit he brings onto the mats is exactly what he applied to his academics to earn this national recognition. He is proving that how you do anything is how you do everything.
