Just a heads up. Rain is in the forecast for the next two days.

No telling what river conditions will be like for the weekend until Thursday afternoon at the earliest.

Forecast is for mostly sunny weather on the weekend, but water might be flowing too high or might have too much debris to go tubing.

It all depends on how much it rains over the next two days.

As always, the tube rental companies are your best source of information.

Contact them before deciding whether to hit the water.

Good luck and be safe.

If you are thinking about going tubing over the next three days be sure to check the weather before heading out. There are showers heading this way.

Chance of rain today 40%, chance of rain tomorrow 30%. Keep your eye on the weather before heading out.

The water is flowing at 66 cfs right now, and last week it was 72 cfs. Last year this time it was flowing at 92 cfs. That can be slow going at those current flows. If you are heading down the Chute ask your tube service whether you will have to walk. Weather forecast is for a 40% chance of rain on Saturday, and a slight chance of rain on Sunday, and winds variable and less than 10 mph. Go before 11 on the weekends to avoid those horrific afternoon crowds. If you need estimates on how long your trip could last, let us know where you are going to put in and the name of the tube rental company you will be using. Photo from Mountain Breeze Campground

Tell us about your trip this weekend.
Where did you go tubing? How was the water?

The water is flowing at 72 cfs. Last week it was flowing at 92 cfs, and this time last year flows were 72 cfs. We are at the part of the year where flows are going to be fairly low unless it rains. The trip should take around 2.5-5.0 hours depending on where you put in below the Horseshoe. The Horseshoe should take around 2.5 hrs unless the wind picks up. Forecast is for breezes under 10 mph this weekend.Looks like plenty of sun Saturday and Sunday.

We check msgs about once a week. If you have a question post it on this page rather than sending a msg.

Your fellow tubers would like to know about your trip. Where did you go? How long were you on the water? Did you have to walk or paddle? What rental service did you use?

06/26/2026

The water is flowing at 92 cfs. Last week it was flowing at 92 cfs, and this time last year flows were 72 cfs. The trip should take around 3-4 hours depending on where you put in and take out. Contact Little Ponderosa, CaP's, Mountain Breeze, Rockin R, or Lazy L&L for more specific information. Looks like plenty of sun this weekend, but it might be a bit breezy so don't be surprised if you have to paddle a bit.

Haven't made it up to the Horseshoe yet this season. Is parking available close to the Chevron for $15 per car? Thanks
