Meet Ty McCurdy - THE GENERAL SALES MANAGER a.k.a. Ty the Adventure Guy.

Ty’s adventure is simple: good snacks, quiet woods, and a story worth remembering.

His road trip fuel? Chocolate chip Clif Bars and Slim Jims. His dream Hawkes getaway? Taking Big Blue to Colorado for a month.

One adventure he’ll never forget, his first hunting trip at 12, when a massive 6x6 bull elk walked up about 10 feet of him and his dad, then let out a bugle so loud it hurt his ears. He even got elk spit on his face. Murica!

Ty also loves helping customers finally start the adventures they’ve been waiting years for. Seeing that joy is what makes the job worth it.

Meet Taylor, Lead Technician, a.k.a. Heavy Duty Diesel McGuyver.

Taylor is the kind of guy who can spend the day solving tough shop problems, then tell you his perfect day off is floating the river in the shade with his dogs.

One of his favorite adventures was a family road trip to Montana, but lately there’s one destination that keeps coming up, Zion National Park.

If you handed him the keys to any Hawkes rig for the weekend, he’d take a Storyteller Overland Crew Mode straight to Zion. Give him 72 hours and a full tank of gas, same answer.

He’s a solid hunter, still working on perfecting the art of fire starting, and always ready to figure out whatever gets put in front of him.
