When their head is lifted up during a swim, there’s a very good chance their legs are sinking. It takes too much strength to have an effective swim this way.
This is why proper breath control and putting their face in the water is one of the first skills we teach.
From there, we train them to look down while they swim to help keep their hips up, along with effective kicks.
After only two weeks of lessons (approx. 100 minutes of 1:1 instruction) this little guy has built a strong, short and reliable swim 🤗 Next week, we float!
