📖 The Bhagavad Gita’s wisdom is not meant merely to be read, but to be applied in ways that uplift our lives. ✨ It offers us attitudes, qualities, right action, meditation practices, and the techniques of Kriya Yoga to overcome the delusion of separateness and invite God into every aspect of life—not only in meditation, but also in our work, our health, and our relationships.
🙏 In Paramhansa Yogananda’s interpretations of the Gita, he reminds us that self‑realization is not reserved for yogis meditating in Himalayan caves, but is available to anyone with the sincere desire to know God. 🌿 Whatever challenges we face, the Gita provides a step‑by‑step path to transcend the ego and draw closer to God right where we stand.
💫 Krishna counsels that the path to self‑realization lies in bringing God into the very place He has put us. No matter our environment, status, or challenges, when we choose the soul over the ego—when the mind is centered in God—Heaven is present here and now, within our consciousness.
🌞 Arjuna’s life shows us that the way to self‑realization is through becoming a perfect disciple. When we choose God and Guru over worldly attachments—even over a materially grand army—victory is inevitable, for as the scriptures remind us: “Seek ye first the kingdom of God.”
🕉️ The inner battle must be fought between ego and soul, and true victory comes when we choose God over our habits and desires. 🌺
