I use to be a slaw hater, but then I started to make my own, this Mayo Slaw is by far my favorite slaw for fried fish, fish tacos or bbq. Spice it up with some mango or pineapple 10/10. Recipe at the end of the video ✨

Wild Turkey Legs 101 - The National Wild Turkey Federation 08/14/2026

I’ve been yapping about my Wild Turkey Legs 101 article in the Turkey Call magazine for weeks now and y’all can finally read it online! Make sure you share this with a Turkey hunter and save it for next season!! 🦃

It’s kinda chic to wake up before the sun, to show up when nobody’s watching, to take a chance on yourself, to harvest your own food, to be dependable and strong, to be exactly who you are and to actually live your life instead of curating it šŸ¤

I remember Sundays after church and my grandmother deboning a fresh rotisserie chicken the in the kitchen for homemade chicken salad. It’s one of my most fond memories of that woman and to be able to put a wild game twist on it, is all the better. For the recipe on braising your wild turkey legs, check your NWTF Turkey Call magazine. An online version will be available soon! 🦃

Turkey Salad Recipe
3 cups braised turkey meat, shredded
1/2 cup mayo (plus more if you want it creamier - you can always add, you cannot take away!)
1 stick celery, finely chopped
1/2 cup grapes, quartered
1/2 cup peeled and finely diced apple, use your favorite
1/4 cup nuts, chopped (walnuts or pecans)
Salt and Pepper to taste

Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix. Let sit for a few hours for best results. Serve with crackers or on a buttery toasted croissant ✨
