POV: my Sim traits accidentally loaded into real life.

Force people to workout
Get blamed for everyone’s muscle pain
Tell dramatic rehab stories like it’s a Netflix series
Make one Ozempic joke and disappear for 3 business days
Cook one healthy gourmet meal and suddenly think I’m Gordon Ramsay

People think lifting is extra. It’s not.

Muscle is your metabolism, your strength, your protection, your mood regulator… basically your whole health system.

And the best part? You’re naturally losing it every year.

So no, one random walk in the mall doesn’t count as an exercise. Treadmill walk in the gym is not a strength training.

Pick up something heavy. Now slooooowly put it down, and repeat 12 times🤣

Most people treat hip rehab like it’s only for injuries, but that’s far from the truth.

The hip muscles control pelvic stability and lower limb alignment.

If any of the muscles is weaker or not functioning properly, the load shifts to the knees, lower back, and ankles, which impacts the entire posture and lifting technique!

Movement re-education means training the glutes, deep hip rotators, and stabilizers to control femoral position, knee tracking, and force transfer.

These drills improve:
– single-leg stability
– frontal plane control (no knee collapse)
– hip–knee alignment under load
– efficient force production

Use it as a warm-up or to reset your movement before the leg day😊

Piriformis pain is not always caused by tightness, which is why stretching is not always the right solution. The muscle can be either short and tight or long and overstretched, both require different approach.

A short piriformis usually develops from prolonged sitting, reduced hip mobility, and general stiffness around the hips. This often leads to deep glute discomfort and limited hip internal rotation. In this case, stretching and mobility exercises help restore normal muscle length, improve movement, and reduce irritation around the sciatic nerve.

A long piriformis, however, often results from repetitive faulty movement patterns such as poor bending or lifting technique. The muscle becomes lengthened and lacks stability, which can cause pain during walking or training. Stretching here can worsen symptoms because the muscle is already under strain. Instead, rehabilitation should focus on movement re-education, strengthening, and improving hip control and stability.
Understanding whether the piriformis is short or long is key to choosing the correct treatment and avoiding further aggravation.

Train smart and live pain free!
