It is with a sad heart that I send this message.

Melissa Bohrman Barton’s father, our beloved Byron Bohrman, passed away Saturday morning. It was unexpected but he did pass at home.

Byron was an incredible friend for over 20 years and an amazing instructor here at Island Hoppers. He certified 100s of divers over the years. Byron so enjoyed passing along his love of the aquatic realm to others. He will be missed by his former students.

Diving all over the world with Byron some of my fondest trip memories were with him in Galapagos, Cayman, and Fiji.

Please include the family in your thoughts and prayers. If you want to reach out I am sure your caring thoughts will be much appreciated.

I will keep everyone appraised of any arrangements as I hear of them.

I know it will affect us all as we reflect over our times with Byron.
