✨Lifestyle Thursday✨
We tend to overcomplicate EVERYTHING, am I right?
Here’s your reminder to UNCOMPLICATE your fitness journey:
🤌Prep 2-3 protein sources on a saturday or sunday to help ensure you hit your protein
🤌Prep your rice or sweet potatoes and YES a rice cooker can be used for both
🤌Instead of trying to wrap your head about 10 different meal options - make your SAME proteins and carb sources weekly on repeat
🤌CHANGE YOUR: seasonings and calorie sauces - you can make the same things taste SO DIFFERENT!
🤌Understand that your don’t need DIFFERENT workouts every single week. You need your 3-5 workouts that focus on what is helping your weakness be stronger. For example: Hip Thrusts are BORING, but guess what? You build those glutes by being consistent with this move 2-3x a week for months.
‼️Make the routine boring, make the results shiny and fun!

⚡️Teaching Tuesday⚡️:
🤓I used to think that you could build muscle and get lean at the same time. That was before I went through my first bodybuilding cycle.
🎨There is an ART to being lean and “toned” as people say. You have to go through an uncomfortable season of
🤌GROWTH - meaning: a caloric surplus (mainly controlled) and you need that so you have the energy to lift HEAVIER. You stay in this phase for a few to several months and I mean 3+ months.
🫡‼️THEN to reveal the muscle you built during that time you go through a slow and controlled increasing caloric deficit - WHILE you still prioritize your protein intake, and mainly, your carbs get cut - so you DO get tired. Then it become importants to time your carb intake before and after your lifting sessions, because the goal is to keep the muscle you built during growth season, but you’re also trying to take off fat. You feel weak often, but you have to TELL yourself your strong so your weights can remain about the same, or at least similar.
