8/11/26 v 615 Mercs: Michael Bradshaw scores an amazing goal to cut the lead to 1, bouncing it in from behind the net off a dman or maybe the goalie, both of whom were trying to deal with Kristopher Martel in front of the net. Assists to Chris Reavis and James Bradshaw, but let’s also give some props to THE BIG MAN for creating chaos in front of the net! 6-5 Mercs, final score.

8/11/26 v 615 Mercs: Justin Bradford clears the puck from behind the net, and the puck bounces through to a streaking Jackson Duncan who scores on the breakaway! Or maybe he meant to make this amazing pass? 6-4 Mercs with 2:30 left. Note that the scorekeeper didn’t give Justin his assist, instead giving it to Reavis who didn’t touch the puck and James Bradshaw who wasn’t on the ice. Sheesh!

8/11/26 v 615 Mercs: We didn’t score, but how about this stretch pass from Scott Pearson to set up a 2 on 1?

8/11/26 v 615 Mercs: Mercs score again, looks like this one deflected off the defenseman’s skate giving our goalie no chance. Also see the screenshot in the comments for one other observation about our defensive positioning. 4-1 Mercs.

8/11/26 v 615 Mercs: Mercs double their lead on a breakaway. Tough bounce for us at the blue line. 3-1 Mercs.

8/11/26 v 615 Mercs: Mercs score again 24 seconds later with a point shot our goalie couldn’t see through the traffic. Our right wing did a good job getting up to contest the shot, but the center shouldn’t have done the same — the wings cover the dmen and the center should only leave his position to contest a point shot if the wing is MIA, which wasn’t the case here. 2-1 Mercs.
