A word from UMEA Director, Rev. Dr. Kent A. Lundy: "Since 1 Oct 2025, I have had the privilege of making 200 one-on-one phone calls with UMEA clergy serving across a wide variety of ministry settings. These conversations have been among the most meaningful moments of my ministry as Director, providing an opportunity to listen, encourage, and learn from and pray with those faithfully serving every day. My goal is to have a one on one phone call with every current endorsed clergyperson before Easter, 2027. Only 320 (ish) more to go!"

The meal was outstanding and the conversation even better. This visit bolstered the connection between Ch Bowden in her role as the Chief of Chaplains for the Coast Guard and The United Methodist Church. UMEA clergy are everywhere!
