Emi Martinez has joined Chelsea. He leaves Villa as one of the best goalkeepers for the club, a character known for ultimate sh*thousery & he helped us secure the Europa Leage trophy in his final match with the club.

The league phase of the Champions League is set. Need to come out firing over those first 3 matches as business picks up in November.

Nicolas Jackson has signed for Villa from Chelsea. His registration was completed in time making him available for the match v Arsenal on Monday.

For anyone wondering what that actually means: Lions Clubs are AVFC's official network of supporters' groups around the world. It connects us to the wider North American Lions network, gives our members access to the club's Fan ID system for ticketing priority (if traveling across the pond for a match), and puts us on the map with fellow Villans across the continent who get together every year for the North America Lions Meet-Up.

Concerns as Tammy Abraham limped off, leaving Ollie Watkins, who hasn’t played all pre-season, as possibly the only fit striker for opening weekend.
