The Mashers are looking for multiple firsts when they take to the ice on Monday night in the Upper-D Stanley Guitar Playoffs Final against the Pre-Gamers.

The Mashers have been bounced by the Pre-Gamers the past two seasons in the first round and have yet to best them in the post-season.

The Mashers wont only be looking for their first postseason victory against the Pre-Gamers, but they will also be looking for their first Upper-D League championship since the creation/recreation of the league.

Admission is free and puck drops at 10pm.

Scoreboard Update*

The Mashers had a semifinal round date with The Cold Hickories, who were fresh off their upset of top seeds, Your Step Mom.

The first period came and went with both teams attempted to feel each other out, but neither team cracking the goose egg.

The second period saw back to back goals from Miller to take a 2-0 lead. Then with under twenty seconds left on the clock, Kampmeyer redirected a Scharr shot on goal to take a 3-0 lead. Then on the ensuing face-off as time was winding down, Scharr put up a long bomb that found it's way through the goalie with 2 seconds remaining.

A 2-0 lead turned into a 4-0 lead in the span of mere moments before th3 second intermission.

Miller would finish his hat trick in the third period and Gibson would add a goal for good measure.

The Cold Hickories did manage to add a goal before the final whistle, their first against the Mashers this season.

Next up, the Mashers look for redemption against the team who has shown them a first round exit for the last two editions of the Stanley Guitar Playoffs, the Pre-Gamers.

The Mashers are headed to the Spring-Summer-26 Stanley Guitar Playoff Finals after a 6-1 win over The Cold Hickories.

The Mashers will face-off against the Pre-Gamers on Monday August 17th at a time TBA.
