Naples Eagles FC is a youth futsal and soccer club in Naples, Florida. We use futsal to promote skill development, creativity, and confidence in our players.
We offer competitive and recreational programs year-round using indoor and outdoor facilities. Eagle Academy is the only futsal academy with christian principles in South West Florida. Does futsal movements help for soccer?
Yes. Many futsal movements transfer very well to soccer, especially for young players.
Some of the main futsal concepts that help soccer players are:
Rotation and movement off the ball β Players learn to move constantly, create passing angles, and find space.
Quick decision making β Because the court is smaller and pressure is constant, players learn to think and play faster.
Ball control in tight spaces β Improves first touch, dribbling, shielding, and receiving under pressure.
Combination play β Wall passes, overlaps, third-man runs, and quick passing combinations are common in both sports.
Spatial awareness β Players learn when to move, when to stay, and how to occupy spaces effectively.
Defensive transitions β Immediate pressure after losing the ball ("5-second rule") is valuable in soccer.

Our Naples Eagles 2015 Boys finished as runners-up in the 2026 Naples Heat Futsal Cup after playing a final that was not for the faint-hearted.
The match ended in a thrilling 6-6 draw, and the championship was decided from the penalty spot, where we narrowly fell 3-4.
To reach the final, the team finished first in the standings with the following results:
β½ vs. Tekboys: 7-7
β½ vs. MVP FC 2015: 6-4
β½ vs. Azzurri Storm: 6-4
A great first tournament to begin the 2026/27 season, full of excitement, commitment, and determination to keep improving.
