The current is rough.
Yet I am not.
The waves⌠releasing.
I am resting.
The Gulf is different⌠yes, just a little rougher.
The waves arrive at the shore with a little more strength. I watch themâŚ
I donât feel unsettled.
I feel released.
I have been carrying something that no longer belonged to me.
Not a personâŚ
A burden.
The questioningâŚ
The ache of wanting to be understood.
TodayâŚthese waves reminded meâŚsome things are not meant for forever.
The ocean doesnât cling to yesterdayâs tide.
It receives.
It releases.
It begins again.
My soul is learning to do the same.
This burden has become a lesson.
This lesson has become wisdom.
WisdomâŚwonderfully light.
I leave what doesnât belong to me here at the sea, with gratitude.
The waves will carry it from here.
And I will return home lighter.

The Spiritual Weaver

Come sit with me for a momentâŚ..
I was asked several weeks agoâŚ.âwhat is this spiritual weaverâ â what does it meanâ âwho is itâ âis it Wiccanâ.
I have pondered this for weeks. Not because I question who I am, because I most certainly do not in any way question that. I pondered becauseâŚwellâŚI love me.
I love who I am.
I love being able to take words and transform them.
I love taking threads of my life and weaving them into beauty.
I see me, an amazing spiritual woman sitting at a loom. Every morningâŚI pick up another thread.
Some threads are gratitude.
Some are silence.
Some are courage.
Some are grief.
Some are joy.
Some are my sacred sanctuary by the water.
Some are my grandchildren.
Some are my children.
Some are real estate, lived with integrity.
Some are the people I have lovingly released.
Some are the people I choose to keep close.
None of those threads, by themselves, tell the whole story.
Yet togetherâŚthey become my tapestry. MY sacred tapestry.
A tapestry beautifully woven together.
And this is what is so awesomely amazingâŚ.
A weaver doesnât keep every thread.
You see I choose. How powerful of a choice this is.
I know that some colors belong.
Some donât. Some are beautiful on their own, yet they arenât meant for this tapestry.
Thatâs not rejection. Thatâs artistry.
Perhaps this is why the word clarity has become so important to me. Clarity helps this weaver choose the next thread.
Without rushing.
Without forcing.
Without explaining.
SimplyâŚ
âYes.â
âNo.â
âNot this one.â
âThis belongs.â
That feels very much like where my life is now. My life is not something I am trying to fix. It is a tapestry I am lovingly weaving, one intentional thread at a time.

My Sacred Sanctuary đ¤
This place I come to allow myself, my spirit⌠to rest.
I am here in gratitude, in peace,
where nature nourishes my soul.
My dolphins bid me good morning.
The birds sing my morning songs.
The waves gently roll in and touch my toes.
Here⌠this place where I sitâŚ
brings peace to my being.
I close my eyes and feel
the gentle breeze touching my skinâŚ
The exhale.
The return.
The remembering.
No noise.
No pressure.
No adjustment.
Just ocean, sky, breath, horizon, and me.
Letting the waves regulate me again.
The spaciousness calming my nervous system.
Returning to self.
There are no distractions hereâŚ
This is not escape or avoidance.
It is nourishment.
The ocean asks nothing of me.
I simply receive.
So todayâŚ
I walk.
I breathe.
I listen.
I let the waves and the ocean do what they always do.
And I quietly settle in my spirit.

Most of the lessons that I have learned were not through through books, teachers, or theories.
I have learned them through:
LivingâŚfeelingâŚstrugglingâŚreturningâŚ.listeningâŚ
observing myself honestlyâŚfailing and getting up!
Thatâs why they land so deeply & honestly.
Life lessonsâŚâŚ.they are my anchors.

I live from my center and protect my peace.
I am anchored within.
My feet grounded on the earth,
my heart open,
my spirit steady in the waters of life.
I am heldâ
I have always been heldâ
and I trust the quiet guidance that lives within me.
I walk in connection with my Divine Source,
my spirit guides beside me,
gently leading, never forcing.
I honor my inner childâ
she is safe here,
heard, loved, and protected.
I lead myself with calm, clarity, and self-trust.
I do not rush.
I do not force.
I move with intention and natural rhythm.
When my breath is easy and my body feels settled,
I know I am aligned.
I am discerning with my energy
and clear with my boundaries.
My spirituality is my foundation.
From alignment, everything flows.
Each day, I choose presence over pressure.
I choose peace over noise.
I return to myselfâagain and again.

You donât have to carry everything youâve lived.
You get to set things downâ
again and againâŚ
just like the tide.
And this placeâŚ
it helps you remember that.

This woman of the oceanâŚ.
The quiet waves gently touching the shore.
The osprey and the pelicans feeding.
The sand between my toes.
The touch of sunshine.
The gentle breeze on my skin.
Solitude
Strength
Stillness
SanctuaryâŚ..
This woman,
She is not separate from meâŚ
She is me and I am her.

The coolness⌠the ocean⌠the breath
This is beautiful.
The coolness ~ brings me into my body
The ocean ~ regulates my rhythm
The breath ~ anchors my awareness
Wrapped my arms around myself.
Not for long.
Breathe deeply ⌠and relax đ§ââď¸
I am here. I am steady. I am enough.
I have arrived!

This sanctuaryâŚwithin me. Itâs the way I meet myself: with love, grace, compassion, and no judgment.
This inner space is present and honored.
My breath deepens ~
My body relaxes ~
My writing flows more honestly ~
Gratitude comes easily ~
My inner child feels seen instead of hiddenđ¤
Itâs not something I force. Itâs something I have cultivated over time by choosing presence, gentleness, and truth.
I return to this inner sanctuary each morning ~ one breath, one line of writing, one moment of gratitude. Not to achieve something, but because I am honoring the safety I have built inside myself.

My writing sanctuary
is not a place.
It is me.
A no-judgment zone.
Full of love.
Peace.
Grace.
Compassion.
Here my words are free to arrive
without criticism,
without correction,
without explanation.
Here they can simply be.
And because they are welcomed,
they grow.
