Take a few minutes today to see if your child knows their phone number, home address, a trusted adult’s name, and what to do if they become separated from you.

It doesn’t have to be a serious conversation; practice it in the car, while making dinner, or during your next walk around the neighborhood.

A little preparation now can help kids feel more confident if they ever need to use those skills. 💛

Back-to-School Safety Tips!

School is back, which means it’s time to brush up on some important safety reminders! 🚸

🚌 Bus Safety: Stay a safe distance from the road and wait until the bus comes to a complete stop before approaching.

🚶 Walking Safety: Use sidewalks and crosswalks whenever possible, and always look both ways before crossing.

🚗 Car Safety: Buckle up every ride, even if you’re only going a short distance!

🚲 Bike Safety: Always wear a properly fitted helmet and follow the rules of the road.

📱 Stay Alert: Put phones and distractions away when walking, biking, or crossing the street.
