☀️ The summer heat isn’t done yet! Kids may be back in school and Halloween decorations are in stores, but it’s still hot out there.

Remember these five training tips to stay safe in the heat:

💦 Hydrate: Drink water before, during and after your run. Add electrolytes to your water, too!

⏰ Time it right: Run early in the morning or later in the evening when it’s cooler.

🏃 Dress smart: Choose lightweight, breathable clothing, plus a hat and sunglasses.

🧴 Wear sunscreen: Protect your skin and reapply during longer runs.

🙏 Listen to your body: Dizziness, weakness, nausea or extreme fatigue are warning signs. Stop, find shade and cool down. If symptoms don’t improve, seek medical care.

Stay cool, stay safe and keep moving! 🌞🏃
