Eight Carolina Rattlers won the Nike RBI Mid-Atlantic Region Championship and advanced to the Nike RBI World Series with the Durham Triple Play Jr. All Stars!

Congrats to our very own Noah McDowell (2030, OF/P, C. E. Jordan HS) on his invitation to the Perfect Game USA 14U National Showcase! This is a very high honor in recognition of his performance when it mattered most. Well done, young man!

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Grayson Kohn (15U) and Tommy Monette (14U) for being selected to represent the Southeast at the USA Baseball NTIS Champions Cup this coming August! They set themselves apart amongst hundreds of other very talented athletes to earn an opportunity to represent our country on Team USA.

Congratulations to our 15U squad for going 4-0 at the Dynamic National Championship at NC State and Campbell University. They outscored opponents 26-2, and finished with the best overall record. Unfortunately, rain eliminated the bracket portion of the tournament so we were not officially crowned the winner.

Next up, the PG World Series in the Rocky Mount area!

Not the Saturday we wanted for the 14U crew. But we responded with a fantastic Sunday that included solid contributions by everyone.

Time for a big finish at the World Series this coming weekend 💪🏽

Congrats to 15U two-way stud Collin Hernandez (2029, P/C, Durham Academy) for receiving all conference honors this past spring 💪🏼

Congratulations to SBA Coastal Carolina Rattlers 14U/15U utility man Michael Ferrell (2031, UT/RHP, Homeschool) for winning his team’s “Heart of a Warrior” award. Concerning the award, one of his coaches wrote:

“It’s a real honor to present the Wake County Homeschool Warriors Heart of the Warrior Award for the Middle School Red Team to a Michael Ferrell .

Michael was chosen for this award by his teammates and coaches because all season long he showed the kind of effort, toughness, resilience, and team-first attitude that this award is all about.

No matter where he was needed — in the middle infield, on the mound as a starting pitcher, or in the outfield — he showed up, competed hard, and led by example.

Even more than that, he consistently demonstrated Christ-like character on and off the field, and that made him a true encouragement to everyone around him.

It was an inspiring privilege to watch him throughout our extraordinary season.

Thank you Michael for your leadership and excellence while remaining a wonderful teammate. You are truly deserving of this honor.”
