USA Judo brings tourney to Baytown The 2026 Veterans Judo Open Houston is coming to Baytown Aug. 29, featuring more than 200 veteran competitors (age 30 and older) from across the nation and other countries.

🥋 **VETERANS JUDO OPEN HOUSTON— AUGUST 29TH!** 🥋
The **Veterans Judo Open** is shaping up to be another great **Veterans-Only Tournament!**
What I’m most proud of is the number of **NOVICE competitors** who have entered. The Novice Division was one of the main reasons we started this whole thing—to give our newer students **over 30 years old** a venue where they can step onto the mat, test their skills, and experience competition against other veterans.
We currently have **10 unapproved entries** waiting to be completed.
**Gentlemen, let’s get on it!** Let’s make the Novice Division one of the biggest and best divisions of the tournament.
