Heaven's Gate RV and Retreat

Saturday of Mare Madness was just as wonderful. We rode out to the Blue Hole and stopped for lunch. Another delicious wrap provided by Brigitte Schoofs. We got back late but managed to gather everyone up for our Rice Paper Watercolor class. How fun! None of us had ever done or seen anything like it....thanks Maggie Spindler Anderson! It was awesome! We then sat down to a meal of Cornish Hens, sweet potatoes and grilled veggies.

Had a wonderful full day with our Mare Madness group! Storms came through last night and early this morning, but it did not stop our adventurous spirits from getting out. We had a gorgeous ride planned, and the trails were even more beautiful because of the rain. Had a great lunch on the trail thanks to Brigitte Schoofs. We made it back to Camp just in time to start the Hat decorating, and it was a wonderfully productive afternoon! After a short siesta to recharge, we were so excited for our Taste of Italy dinner, which was absolutely delicious. Laci Hill Culpepper and I headed out after dinner on an adventurous hunt for a lost phone and a scoot boot, and guess what? We found them both! Looking forward to more Adventures tomorrow. 😁
