MEET THE TEAM: BRIAN KELLEY

Site Operations

If it needs to be built, moved, staged or figured out on competition day or before, Brian is probably involved.

Brian leads Site Operations for the Christmas Classic, helping oversee setup, equipment, competition-floor logistics and the behind-the-scenes work that keeps the event moving.

While the athletes focus on competing, Brian and the operations team focus on making sure everything is where it needs to be when it needs to be there.

Event Coordinator

Jennifer helps turn all of the pre-event planning into ex*****on on competition day.

She works directly with vendors, helps coordinate hospitality and event-day details, and serves as one of the key people keeping everything moving behind the scenes while the competition is underway.

Jennifer was part of the team at our last comp, and we’re excited to have her back helping us make November 7 even better. 💪🎄

Sponsor Relations

Austin Moncivaez serves as Director of Sales for Deck the Halls Christmas Lights and steps into a different role for the Christmas Classic — helping take care of the businesses that help make the event possible.

During event week, Austin will work directly with our sponsors, helping coordinate their arrival, recognition, hospitality and overall experience at the Classic.

Our sponsors invest in this event and our athletes. We want to make sure they’re taken care of in return.

Event Producer

Koby is the owner of DTH Events and oversees the big picture behind the Christmas Classic — event planning, sponsor partnerships, featured guests, and bringing together the team that makes it all happen.

The goal from the beginning has been to build a competition that’s welcoming to first-time competitors, exciting for experienced athletes, and something the community looks forward to every year.

And yes — the Event Producer plans on competing this year too. 💪🎄

MEET THE TEAM: MATT HUGHEY

Matt Hughey serves as Lead Programmer for the Deck the Halls Christmas Classic.

Matt created all four events for this year’s competition and has also put together the official standards videos athletes are using to prepare for November 7.

With 10 years as the owner of CrossFit VTG, extensive coaching experience, and a long background in strength and conditioning, Matt plays a major role in making sure the competition is challenging, clear, and well thought out.

MEET THE TEAM: CHRIS MARTINEZ

Chris Martinez serves as Event Director for DTH Events and will help lead the 2026 Christmas Classic from planning through competition day.

Chris brings experience directing the multi-day Battle of the Barbells competition series in Nashville, along with a strong background in event logistics, scoring, volunteer coordination, and day-of ex*****on.

His job is simple: help make sure athletes get a fair, organized, professional competition experience from start to finish.

Join us for a cozy, hands-on evening featuring two of Kaylee’s perfected discard recipes. We’ll make sourdough pizza dough, bake cookies, and send you home with cookie dough to enjoy later!
