Well all good things come to an end, and your 2026 Scouts season did this weekend. We were able to make a little noise in the Sulphur Dell Cup winning 2 before being eliminated Saturday evening in a close game with our good friends the Franklin Farriers Vintage Base Ball Club.

2026 was a great year of growth, with the club having 5 first year players, to go along with 4 second year players!

Thank you to the entire Scouts community for coming out and supporting us this year! Your cheers and well wishes meant the world to us throughout this season.

Last but not least, thank you to Oaklands Mansion for all your support this year! We appreciate being able to keep a piece of Murfreesboro history alive with ya’ll!

Alright Scouts fans! Who is ready for some breakfast base ball on Saturday! We take on our friends Lightfoot Vintage Base Ball Club of Chattanooga in the first round of the 2026 Sulphur Dell Cup. Bring your chair, bring a coffee, and come root on your favorite vintage base ball club!

A hearty thank you to the Quicksteps for hosting our final regular season game this year. While we did not win, a great time full of sportsmanship and camaraderie was had by all!

Next up for your Scouts is the Sulphur Dell Cup held at Rippavilla on September 12 and 13. Keep an eye out for the bracket soon, and we hope to see you there!

The Quicksteps closed out the 2026 regular season with a win against our friends from Murfreesboro, the Stones River Scouts. The final tally was 12-3, but this match had plenty of defensive plays that stole the day.

Next up, Sulphur Dell Cup! Come join us back at RippaVilla on 9/12 and 9/13 as all 11 teams in the Association play for the cup!

A great way to make a day after attending Murfreesboro Saturday Market!

Fair Patrons, we implore you to not miss our final contests of the home match schedule on our fair grounds of Oaklands Mansion this Saturday the Eighth of August as we complete against not one, but two friendly foes from the Eastern border of our great state.
