Labor Day Ride Mode: ON!

MOAB Bike Shop will be CLOSED today (Monday) for Labor Day so our crew can enjoy a little extra time off — and hopefully a few miles on two wheels. 🚵🏼‍♂️🚵🏽‍♀️

Another trip around the sun for the guy who keeps a whole lot of wheels turning - Happy Birthday, Mark Dement! 🎉

Owning a local Bike Shop isn’t exactly a 9–5. It’s early mornings, late nights, weekends, problem-solving, answering “one quick question,” supporting rides and races, loading and unloading more stuff than anyone wants to count - and usually doing it all with Milo 🐶 somewhere nearby supervising.

But one of the things we appreciate most about Mark is that he’s always willing to go the extra mile. Whether it’s helping a customer, supporting a local organization, or finding that one more thing that will make a community event extra memorable, he genuinely cares about the people behind the bikes.

And somehow, in the middle of running MOAB and everything that comes with it, he’s also a pretty great husband and dad - currently adding “helping send a daughter off to college” to the list. 🫶🏼

So this next week - give Mark a little extra love. Drop him a birthday wish, buy the man a beer, give Milo a scratch, or simply stop by and say thanks.

We appreciate the countless hours, hard work and heart you continue to put into MOAB and our cycling community. 🚲💚

And as always, thank YOU for supporting your local bike shop. It allows people like Mark - and shops like MOAB - to keep showing up for this community.
