🌳 SATURDAY LEAGUE UPDATE — Mile Lane Disc Golf

We're sorry to share some tough news: our Saturday League will be canceled for the remainder of the season. A fallen tree has taken out the yellow basket and the nearby tee box, and the area isn't safe for play.

The good news — we're already planning the fix. Tree removal and replacement of the basket and tee pad will take place this fall, so we can get that hole back in great shape.

We know this league is important to many of us, and we appreciate your patience while we get this sorted out. 🙏

Looking ahead, we're hoping to bring back the Thanksgiving Saturday Ace Race this year — so stay tuned for more details as the season winds down!

The excitement at Mile Lane Disc Golf didn't stop when our Summer Fling Disc Golf Doubles Tournament ended. Less than an hour after the last group finished Nicole Davies and Colby Mallery heard a very loud noise in the lower woods. A large tree crashed down across the Yellow basket and nearby tee pad and surrounding area.

So thankful that noone was around the basket or teepad at that time or it could have been tragic.

Mile Lane will be unplayable for sometime.

What a day at Mile Lane Disc Golf! Perfect 79° weather, a great crowd of first-time players out on the course, and three action-packed rounds (Alternate Shot ➡️ Best Shot ➡️ Championship Shootout) made for an unforgettable 6th anniversary event.

🏅 CHAMPIONS: Black & Mild (Matthew Clever & Francisco Reinoso) — closing it out at -33, edging the field by a single stroke!
🥈 Runner-Up: Ace-Holes (Derrick & Landon Davis) -32
🥉 3rd: TK-Throw (Tony Miller & Kevin Spradlin) -31

🎉 BIGGEST HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY — Krystal Mallery drained her FIRST CAREER ACE on hole 15! 🥏🔥 Congratulations, Krystal — that one's going in the record book! 📸👇

🦅 Nick Russ also threw down a HUGE EAGLE on his way to a top-3 finish — big-time throw! ⭐

🏆 TOP OF THE LEADERBOARD:
🥇 Colby Mallery — an absolutely scorching -16 (58) with 17 birdies! An incredible, near-flawless round.
🥈 Kevin Spradlin — -14 (60), and he did it BOGEY-FREE with 14 birdies. Rock solid all day. 💪
