The club's charter is to provide its membership with the best possible fellowship, entertainment and enjoyment in a nautical, family-oriented atmosphere.
Hobcaw Yacht Club is located in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. Its waterfront lies on the eastern bank of the Wando River just upstream of the confluence of the Wando and Cooper Rivers feeding into the Charleston Harbor. The club, conceptualized in 1953 and incorporated in 1958, continues to grow and prosper with its active membership!

🌟CITY MEET 2026🌟 Our Hobcaw Marlins swam hard, represented HYC mightily 💪, and had a blast at the CCAA City Meet in North Charleston over the weekend! 👏🏊♂️😍💦

Our Hobcaw Marlins will swim their final HOME meet of 2026 tomorrow night (Thursday 6/11) against Longpoint beginning at 6:00 PM!
🌟 We’ll honor our SENIOR as she takes the blocks for the final time at Hobcaw 🎉 and Hobcaw favorite - DJ Josh Walker will keep us dancing throughout the night 😎
🌟 Come out and enjoy Hobcaw’s famous Marlin Grill 🍔 and stay for the FIREWORKS SHOW at the conclusion of the meet 🎇🎆🇺🇸
