Secret spots have been getting busy so I’ve done a little exploring to the South and it paid off. We absolutely hammered em. Couldn’t get two rods out before the first one going off! We literally used one rod. Booking trips now for the last week of July and August. Great day fishing Charleston !!

No shortage of the biggns. Ended up towing this fella back to Shem Creek from the Jetties.. He came up to us on the trolling motor at the rocks and asked for some help. I explained to him I was on a charter and had another 45 minutes to go before heading in. Told him to keep heading in that direction and if no one had picked him up I would get him back. He trolled out to the channel and we watched at least 25 boat go right by him while waving his arms trying to signal someone… No, he didn’t have Sea Tow or Tow Boat U.S. That’s besides the point. They didn’t know if he was in distress or needed a tow but they kept on rolling. That would have never happened when I was growing up here. Either way, Im not gonna leave anyone stranded whether I know ya, don’t know ya, or even if I don’t like ya😉 And No, I didn’t ask, nor take any payment. I will need some help at some point and hopefully one of y’all will check on me. Slow down people and chill out. Help a brotha out even if it might inconvenience you. That’s kind of the whole point being here in the first place. NOW, I did tell him that his a*z better being going home and getting a tow boat membership first thing!!😎

80% chance of rain and never saw a drop. Great day fishing Charleston with these ED Nurses from Minnesota! These gals knew how to fish. Bite was good to say the least and perfect weather conditions.

Little bit of a struggle in the beginning of the charter but it worked out just fine. Only took a handful of pics but A LOT of big reds mixed in with some pretty decent trout. Kept a few trout for dinner but released one big momma on top of some others. Topped it off with my daughter and some Blue Angels practice. It was AWESOME!! Will be out there tomorrow rain or shine to support our military!

Whacked em this morning on my charter, ran back to the landing, dropped the trailer and boogied it to pick up my gal to watch practice. Naturally I had a line out. Just catching a shark while the Blue Angels flying by. I will remember this one!

Had my “RWG,” and he did not disappoint. First pic says it all. No rain for 4 months and we get it the days he books a trip. We decided if the drought persists, he will have to fish again very soon. Wind and rain didn’t stop this crew. Had them all day so we took a ride and the catchin began. Had we been targeting the delicious speckled trout we could have filled the box with some biggns but we were not there for the trout. We caught plenty on accident. A lot of redfish, black drum, and sheepshead. Even caught a glimpse of the Blue Angels! Always look forward to this fella and his crew. Great day fishing Charleston!

Why fish on a Monday you ask?? Because, very few boats but very many fish. Great time with these fellas today. A lot of redfish and a handful of trout. It was a bit of a boat ride but paid off once got to the “catchem hole.”
