Testing Week allows our athletes to measure their speed, strength, agility, power, endurance, and core stability. These benchmarks help our coaches track progress, identify areas for improvement, and create more purposeful training.

It’s not about comparing athletes to one another—it’s about showing each athlete how far they’ve come and motivating them toward their next goal. Encourage your athlete to attend throughout the week so they can complete each scheduled test!

Testing Week is your opportunity to see where you are, recognize how far you’ve come, and set goals for where you want to go next.

Throughout the week, we’ll measure key areas of fitness, including strength, power, muscular endurance and overall conditioning. These benchmarks allow our coaches to track your progress and make your training more intentional.

This isn’t about comparing yourself to anyone else—it’s about competing with the person you were yesterday. Attend throughout the week to complete each test and establish your personal baseline!

🚨 LINEUP CHANGE AT D1 EAST COOPER 🚨

Sometimes the game plan changes.

And sometimes a player steps up, delivers when the team needs it most, and earns a bigger role.

We’re excited to announce that Coach Evan Scott has been promoted to Head Coach of D1 Training East Cooper! 🔥

Evan has only been with us for a few short weeks—but when the pressure was on, he stepped up when we needed him the most.

He didn’t wait to be asked. He didn’t worry about whether something was technically part of his job description. He simply saw what the team needed and went to work.

Evan has taken on additional responsibilities, supported his teammates, connected with our athletes and families, and consistently put the needs of the team and D1 East Cooper ahead of himself.

That’s leadership.

A former NCAA Division II football player, Exercise Science graduate, and NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Evan came to D1 with the credentials.

But his performance, teamwork, and willingness to step up when it mattered most earned him this opportunity.

This may be a late change to the lineup, but we couldn’t be more confident about who we're handing the ball to.

MEET OUR NEW GENERAL MANAGER! 🔥

D1 Training East Cooper is excited to welcome Jake Manyin as our new General Manager!

Jake brings a strong background in sports operations, business development, leadership, and community engagement. Most recently, he served as Director of Baseball Operations & Camp Director at Charleston Southern University, helping lead the business and operational side of a Division I athletic program. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Management and Leadership from CSU.

Jake will work alongside Head Coach Evan Scott and our entire D1 team to lead our day-to-day operations, grow our D1 community, and continue creating an exceptional experience for our athletes, adults, and families.

THANK YOU, MEGAN! ❤️

Today, we want to recognize Megan Hamilton and thank her for everything she has contributed to D1 Training East Cooper.

Megan joined our team a year ago during an important chapter for our facility and has served as our General Manager, helping lead the day-to-day operations of D1 East Cooper and supporting our members, families, athletes, coaches, and staff.

Anyone who has spent time around Megan knows how much she cares about the people who walk through our doors. Whether she was welcoming a new family, helping a member, supporting our coaching staff, working behind the scenes, or simply making sure the countless details of running the facility were handled, Megan brought tremendous energy and commitment to D1 East Cooper.

As Megan moves on to her next chapter, we want to simply say:

Thank you!

Thank you for the time, energy, and care you invested in D1 East Cooper. Thank you for the relationships you built with our members and families. And thank you for everything you did to help our team and facility move forward.
