AUDITION NOTICE!

Auditions for “A Christmas Carol” directed by Beth Henderson.

Written by Patrick Barlow, author of The 39 Steps, this hilarious, fast-paced take on the Dickens classic is performed by only five actors.

Where:
*Playhouse 615
(11920 Lebanon Rd, Mount Juliet, TN 37122)

When:
*Sunday, September 27 at 6:30pm
*Monday, September 28 at 6:30pm

Details:
*Auditions will consist of cold reads from the script.
*Headshots and resumes are welcome, but not required.
*Please come dressed for movement. All ages and ethnicities are encouraged.
*British accents will be required, but we will have a dialect coach working with the actors.
*Rehearsals will run primarily from Mid October through November.
*Show dates are December 4-20.

Character breakdown:
Ebenezer Scrooge: 60+, male presenting - Cantankerous, money grubbing gentleman who hates joy. Bah humbug!

Actor 2: Any age, male presenting - Bob Cratchit, Marley, Young Scrooge, etc.

Actor 3: Any age, female presenting - F***y, Isabella, Ghost of Christmas Present, etc.

Actor 4: Any age, female presenting - Ghost of Christmas Past, Constance, Mrs. Cratchit, etc.

Actor 5: Any age, male presenting - Frederick, Mr. Fezziwig, Tiny Tim, etc.
