After almost 5 months, Trevor’s Peak 44 carbon fiber stock came in and he brought everything back by the shop. Had to mill it out for the added recoil lug and open up the barrel channel (that was fun!). The Tikka T3x 7PRC Ackley is finally done!

Rust bluing completed, re-jeweled the bolt and everything back together.

After a 3 month wait, the 20” barrel blank finally arrived and I had the rental reamer in hand. Dialing in the barrel to .0001” for threading and chambering.

Action, lever and forend cap annealed overnight. Now the work begins!
