The final points night of the season has ended and when the checker flag fell we captured our 4th Championship. This one felt different as we went back to back years. Car was consistent all year but just couldn't get it to really dominate like in 2025. We will definitely take it though. Had a great battle all year with Matt Ciara and Dominic Matts as we swapped points all year. Got to thank Scott Ingram for letting me run his car the last 3 years. If we all could play the would of could of saying, I would have 3 in a row, but I take what the track gives us under their rules. To have a breakout time in our division and we get 20+ cars a night, I'd say its pretty healthy. I'm going to go enjoy my off season now because its concert season for me, but not before we hit the post season special races. Currently 10 points behind the Village Realty Pure Stock Challenge. Lets see if we get us some more hardware in a few weeks.

With all that being said i will give a recap of the weekend. Friday night was double features. We picked up our second feature win of the season in the first feature and 4th place in the the second feature. Saturday we ran the Fall Brawl Enduro and finished 7th out of 40ish cars. Car still doesn't have power steering and definitely needs to get taken care off by October for the Goblin 250 Enduro. Sunday night we finished 8th out of a huge 25 car field which was enough to clinch the championship.

Along with the Enduro on Saturday, I was inducted into the 2026 Mazon/Grundy Racing Hall of Fame. It was a privilege and honor. Never in my wildest dreams would I thought this could happen. Appreciate the HOF committee for the votes. I will post my speech later on in the week.

Finally, on a personal note. My head was not in the right space all weekend as I had to make a personal choice. A family very close to ours lost their teenage son this past week. He was my daughter's best friend younger brother. My family could not attend the races Friday or the HOF on Saturday due to services. My gut was upset as I was unsure on the decision I had made to choose racing. Life can throw some tough s**t in your face. Friday's Feature win goes out to the Reed Family of Manhattan. Rest easy Tony aka Bird. I dedicated that win in victory lane to your family and could hardly get it out.

Final weekend of our regular points season and throw in race 3 of 4 of the Grundy Enduro season on Saturday...we will see how the chips fall. Racing all 3 days with Hall of Fame on Saturday. Big thanks to Scott Ingram for letting me run his car another year. We are dialing it in for this weekend and hopefully we found the issue that has plagued me all year.

Qualified like crap (9th), finished 4th in first feature and ended up turning someone on the 2nd feature and took the high road and tapped out, restarted last and finished 9th. I'll leave it as that. I regained the points lead this past Friday with all top 3 cars having a bad night. I just capitalized more than them. They say races are won in the garage so we are throwing everything at the car. I definitely have been off this year and just consistently finishing top 5 but should have more wins and fast times. It's on me and it's time to go. 2 nights left. We will see everyone Labor day Weekend as our division is off this weekend.

Yep we are still here!!! Been almost a month since our last post. Only thing winning is mother nature with all our rain outs this month. A little update though as the season is winding down. We sit 17 points back from 1st and 2 nights plagued us this year. Lost a coil early in the year and ran the car on 3 cylinders finishing outside the top 10 and our last night of racing we missed qualifying and showed up late due to a recent job roll I took on that requires me to be a little more present. We are back at it this Friday for double features to help make up some rain outs. We will see where everything falls as we start closing out the season.

Well she is definitely getting her battle scars. Finished P4 after starting almost dead last. Got as high as 3rd through out the race but just couldn't fight. We lost power steering around lap 20 of 250. The first half (125 laps) on the oval wasn't to bad but 2nd half on the chicane course about killed me. These Acura TSX's do not have a generous rack and pinion when you lose power steering. Final lap I got Neon-ed by some youngster in his first race ever. Pushed me into a tractor tire. Lots of work to get done by September for our next Enduro.
