Welcome to the official page of AYSO Region 187 – a place for AYSO alumni, parents and volunteers and those simply interested in the organization to connect with us and engage with each other. Our mission is to bring the vision of AYSO Region 187 to Facebook - and we encourage you to leave comments, appropriate photos and more. We will review all postings and remove anything that is unlawful, inappropriate, spam, off-topic, promoting violence, injurious to privacy or otherwise offensive. If you choose to upload photos, please do not tag minors using their full legal names or other personal information. Safety and privacy of children is a core value of AYSO. *ATTENTION AYSO 187 FAMILIES*

Playground, Schoolyard, 6U, 8U, 10U and 12U games scheduled for Saturday, September 19 are postponed. Please check your email for details! We will be in touch as soon as we have a reschedule date! This does not affect our Ref classes and Picture Day scheduled for Sunday, September 20. Thank you for your understanding!

Season starts tomorrow. A few reminders for everyone — please share this with anyone coming to watch. ⚽
1️⃣ Sidelines stay POSITIVE. Zero tolerance for referee abuse. Anyone who verbally abuses a referee, player, coach, or child will be removed and suspended at least 2 weeks (likely longer after Board review). Tell grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors, and friends. We respect referee and coach decisions. Always.
2️⃣ Arrive 1 hour early. If you have the first game of the day, help paint fields, put up nets and get players ready. That’s a team job, not just the coach’s. Showing up at kickoff means no warmup and a weaker experience for your player.
3️⃣ NO PETS on school premises. Pets on campus = immediate TEAM FORFEIT.
4️⃣ 10U / 12U / 14U / 16U / 19U teams provide referees every week. One hour a week is all it takes. Ref points count toward standings, Memorial Cup in November, and Area playoffs in December. Next FREE referee clinic: September 20.
5️⃣ 8U teams referee their own matches. Year-end 8U tournament is open to teams whose new volunteer refs ar certified before the deadline.
6️⃣ Park in designated spots only. The bike lane is not parking — you’ll likely end up with a parking ticket. Plan to park across the street and walk. Let’s be respectful of the neighborhood and our fellow MoVal citizens.

Ultimately: Be loud. Be kind. Be early.
