It asks a lot of a driver and a team. I stayed focused, kept digging, and gave everything I had right to the end.

DriveRefine Performance Management Race Weekend Recap: Oxford 250
Sylas Ripley competed in his third Oxford 250 event at Oxford Plains Speedway on Sunday and into the early hours of Monday morning because of rain.
Ripley made his way into the event with a strong finish in one of the consolation heats. From there, Ripley would go on to start the 53rd Annual Oxford 250 in 29th.
In the first 126 laps of the event, Ripley remained patient and slowly picked off cars one by one. Once the event reached the halfway point, it began to rain, putting a pause on all on-track action. By that point, Sylas was sitting in 13th.
After a multi-hour rain delay, racing action resumed shortly after 11:35 p.m. ET. After getting caught up in an incident, Ripley fell back into the 20s, but that didn't slow him down. Ripley stayed focused, keeping his No. 09 machine clean for the remainder of the event. By the end, the 17-year-old fought his way back up into ninth for his third straight top-10 finish in the Oxford 250.

It’s almost time for Sylas Ripley to hit the track at Oxford Plains Speedway for the historic Oxford 250 event!
This race is one of the biggest events in all of Northeast Short-Track racing, and Sylas is making his third appearance.
In 2024, Ripley finished fourth, becoming one of the youngest top five finishers in the event’s history. He followed that up with another impressive seventh-place finish in 2025.
The 250 takes place on Sunday, August 30th, with coverage streaming live on Racing America (with a PPV Subscription).
The Heat races will begin at 1:30 p.m. ET, with the features and the 53rd Annual Oxford 250 taking place later into the evening.
