CardioGolf™ Fitness System
Get your Heart Pumping and your Golf Form in shape with the CardioGolf Fitness System…No golf ball required! Professional golfers know the importance of athletic development for golf. As a recreational golfer, you may not have the time to train like an elite athlete, but by simply adding a few swing drills into your daily routine, you can dramatically improve your game.

This is one of my favorite ways to use the CardioGolf® Fit Wedge.

If you tend to stand up out of your posture during the backswing, place the Fit Wedge under your feet to create a downhill lie with the ball below your feet.

This encourages you to stay in your posture, maintain your spine angle, and improve your balance through impact.

Practice from different lies—not just perfect ones. The golf course isn’t flat, and your practice shouldn’t be either.

P.S. It’s a little humid today… my hair tells the story! 😂

Curly hair don’t care.

Week 28: What Golfers Can Learn from World Cup Soccer
This week, we’re taking inspiration from World Cup soccer.

For many golfers, this is also the time of year when you’re preparing for your club championship, member-guest, club invitational, or another important tournament. As you get ready to compete, think about how the world’s best soccer teams prepare and perform. The same principles that help them succeed can help you play your best golf.

Soccer and golf may look like very different sports, but the best players in both games rely on many of the same qualities: preparation, athleticism, patience, adaptability, resilience, and the ability to perform under pressure.

World Cup players don’t wait until game day to get ready. They train their strength, mobility, balance, endurance, speed, and coordination so they can perform when the pressure is highest.

Golfers should prepare the same way.

Your golf swing is only one part of your game. You also need the strength to maintain your posture, the mobility to rotate, the balance to control your motion, and the endurance to stay focused through the final holes.

As you prepare for your next big event, here are some lessons golfers can learn from World Cup soccer teams:

Every possession matters.
Soccer players understand that one careless pass can change the entire game. In golf, every shot deserves your full attention. Don’t take a shot for granted just because it looks easy.

Stay in the game.
Great soccer teams may give up a goal, but they don’t stop playing. Golfers need the same resilience. One bad swing, one three-putt, or one difficult hole doesn’t have to ruin your round.

Rely on your fundamentals.
Championship teams succeed by completing simple passes, staying organized, and doing the basics well. Golfers improve by repeating the fundamentals: grip, posture, alignment, balance, rotation, and tempo.

Trust your preparation.
World Cup players don’t change their entire technique in the middle of a match. They trust their training. On the golf course, avoid searching for swing fixes after every poor shot. Commit to your routine and play with the swing you brought that day.

Adapt to changing conditions.
Soccer teams adjust to the weather, the field, their opponent, and the flow of the match. Golfers must adjust to wind, uneven lies, changing temperatures, course conditions, and how their body feels that day.

Manage your energy.
Soccer matches are often decided late because one team stays stronger and more focused. Golfers also need enough physical and mental energy to finish the round. Hydrate, fuel properly, stay loose, and maintain your routine through the final hole.

Be a good teammate.
Even though golf is an individual sport, you still have a team. Your instructor, trainer, playing partners, family, and friends can all help you improve. Be willing to listen, learn, encourage others, and accept support.

Practice with a purpose.
Soccer teams don’t train randomly. Every drill has a purpose. Your golf practice should also have a plan. Choose one movement, one skill, or one part of your game and give it your full attention.

Control what you can control.
You cannot control the weather, the bounce of the ball, your competitors, or every outcome. You can control your preparation, attitude, effort, routine, and response to each shot.

Play for something bigger than the score.
World Cup players compete for their teammates, their country, and the opportunity to represent something meaningful. Golfers can remember why they play: for the challenge, the friendships, the exercise, and the joy of being on the course.

Whether you’re getting ready for your club championship, your member-guest, or simply trying to become a better golfer, these principles can help guide your preparation. Train like an athlete, trust your work, stay present, and compete one shot at a time.

Prepare your body. Trust your training. Stay in the game. Finish strong.

“Don’t just practice on perfect lies—train for the uneven lies that make up most of your round.” CardioGolf® Daily Dose-

Level up your practice with the CardioGolf® Fit Wedge.

Most golfers practice from a perfectly flat lie—but that’s not what you’ll face on the golf course.

Use the Fit Wedge to practice uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies. You’ll improve your balance, weight shift, and body awareness while learning how to adjust to uneven terrain.

The more variety you add to your practice, the more prepared you’ll be when those challenging lies show up on the course.

Move better. Swing better. This is your CardioGolf® Daily Dose.

How CardioGolf® Started... 25 Years Ago-

It's hard to believe, but this is where CardioGolf® began over 25 years ago.

This was the infomercial we filmed back then. We sold the Shortee Club and a CardioGolf® workout on DVD. A lot has changed since then, but the goal has always been the same—to help golfers move better so they can swing better.

How CardioGolf® Started... 25 Years Ago-Karen Palacios Jansen

It’s hard to believe, but this is where CardioGolf® began over 25 years ago.

This was the infomercial we filmed back then. We sold the Shortee Club and a CardioGolf® workout on DVD. A lot has changed since then, but the goal has always been the same—to help golfers move better so they can swing better.

Looking back, I think I was always meant to do something with golf-fitness.
I loved playing golf, but I also loved working out.
Back in high school, our gym teacher introduced us to a Jane Fonda workout, and I was hooked. After that, I worked out to just about every VHS tape I could get my hands on—and I probably still have a few of them because I save everything!

I worked out with Gilad Janklowicz , Margaret Richard , The Firm, Kathy Smith , my favorite Tamilee Webb and her Buns of Steel, Jazzercise , Gin Miller’s Step Aerobics, and Karen Voight.
My sister Cathy and I even went to a gym in Naperville called Flex. We wore leg warmers, bodysuits, and headbands and did old-school aerobics. We had so much fun.
Eventually, I put my two passions together—golf and fitness—and that’s how CardioGolf® began.

As the program grew, it became even better when I teamed up with Vicki and Ken Pierce and started incorporating their GolfGym® training equipment into the workouts. Their equipment helped golfers feel the golf swing, build golf-specific strength, improve sequencing, and make the workouts even more effective.

Over the years, CardioGolf® has continued to grow and evolve. What started as a DVD has become an online studio with thousands of golf-fitness workouts, swing drills, mobility sessions, strength training, pre-round warm-ups, and weekly performance plans for golfers of every age and ability.
