2022 Aprilia Tuono 660
We just finished up this Tuono 660 here at Mays Motorcycle Maintenance
This firecracker received a full 6,000-mile service performed to factory specifications, along with a complete fluid flush and thorough inspection.
Was amazing to have both these Italians here at the same time. Was able to test ride the back to back. Nothing but grins and a quick shut of the shop door when I returned as we were waiting for a siren to speed by.
Another bike serviced and ready to hit the road.
Thanks for choosing Mays Motorcycle for all your service needs.

2016 Ducati Multistrada 1200 S Pikes Peak — Öhlins Suspension Service
This beautiful Pikes Peak is in the shop getting some attention to its premium Öhlins suspension.
We’ll be servicing the front forks, inspecting components, replacing seals and fluids and setting the suspension up to the rider’s needs.
The Pikes Peak came equipped with fully adjustable Öhlins suspension, non Skyhook model ( truly tunable) including Öhlins forks and a TTX36 rear shock — definitely a setup worth taking the time to service correctly.
Another satisfied customer who left an amazing review!
We take pride in our work.

2021 WR250R Suspension Upgrade**Best addition or modification this bike could ever have!
This 2021 WR250R received a comprehensive suspension overhaul to improve handling, comfort, and off-road capability.
The front forks were completely serviced with new fork seals, bushings, and fresh 10wt Maxima fork oil. Race Tech Gold Valves were installed along with custom-built spacer stacks, carefully assembled and tuned in-house to achieve the desired performance characteristics.
The rear suspension was upgraded with a Cogent Dynamics Pro shock, providing improved damping control, traction, and stability across varying terrain.
Final setup and tuning were completed over two days, with multiple adjustments made to sag, damping, and overall suspension balance to ensure the bike performed properly for the rider’s weight and intended use.
The end result is a WR250R that is more controlled, compliant, and confidence-inspiring both on the trail and on the road. Another suspension build on the books and a very happy customer thanks to

There’s something special about bringing an old motorcycle back to life.
This 1973 Honda CL200 came to Mays Motorcycle needing a lot of attention after years of age and neglect. We went through the fuel system, carburetors, ignition, valves, fluids, and countless little details to get this classic running and riding the way it should.
These old Hondas are simple, reliable machines, but bringing one back isn’t a quick job. It takes patience, time, and a genuine appreciation for vintage motorcycles. Seeing this CL200 fire up and return to the road made every hour worth it.
Another classic saved and ready to make memories again.

Customer brought in a 2025 Yamaha Ténéré 700 with 104 miles on the odometer and requested a more dirt-oriented tire setup in place of the factory Pirelli tires. The Ténéré 700 is powered by Yamaha’s 689cc CP2 engine, producing approximately 72 horsepower and 50 lb-ft of torque, making it an excellent platform for both on-road and off-road adventure riding. Literally a big dirt bike.
Removed the factory tires and installed a new set of Tusk 2 tracks Wheels were inspected, tires mounted and balanced, and pressures set to specification. During the service, several chassis and front-end fasteners were found loose from dealer prep assembly. All accessible fasteners were checked and torqued to manufacturer specifications.
Completed final inspection and road test to verify proper handling, steering, and brake operation. Motorcycle is now equipped for improved traction and confidence in dirt, gravel, and all off-road condition. Thanks Frank for the opportunity to let me work on your new T7

2021 Ducati Scrambler X in the shop for its 600 mile service.
These are really fun bikes to ride. The 803cc twin has plenty of power and torque for how light the bike is, and the Brembo brakes feel great on them too. Definitely one of those bikes that’s comfortable to cruise on but rails in the corners. Had a blast working on this but the test ride was phenomenal.
Performed the 600 mile service including fresh oil and filter, reset service interval, topped off coolant (Ducati was way stingy with this for some reason) checked and adjusted the chain, brakes and fluids, checked tire pressures, controls, fasteners, and gave the whole bike a good once-over to make sure everything is where it needs to be after break-in.
The first service on these bikes is important and helps catch little things early while everything is still settling in. This one is good to go and ready for more miles.
If your bike needs service, tires, diagnostics, electrical work, or repairs, send Mays Motorcycle Maintenance a message and we’ll get you taken care of here in Mooresville, NC.
